Starting a blog

The first thing you must do is choose a platform to open your blog.

The most popular are Blogger and WordPress. They have some particular features you should know before making your own choice:

• Blogger:
• It is necessary to have or open an account in Gmail in order to sign up and open a blog.
• This blog platform allow you to upload photos, embed presentations, electronic paper, videos or podcasts.

• WordPress:
• You don’t need to have a gmail account to open it, but an e-mail account is required.
• Once you register, you will receive an email for confirmation on your e-mail box.
• It allows you to have a blog (with many entries on the front page) alongside with many web pages.
• This blog platform allows you to upload photos, embed presentations and  videos too. However it is a little more complicated to embed a podcast in it.
